They're teen role models who teach daily lessons to kids with the help of the show's lovable leader, Roger the Rhino. 宇宙艦隊士官である父親を幼いころに亡くしたカークは、自由な心を持つ行動的な青年に成長するが、父の遺志を継ごうと宇宙艦隊アカデミーに入学。やがてバルカン星からの緊急救助要請を受け、宇宙艦隊のUSSエンタープライズが出発することになり、カークや親友マッコイらアカデミーの若者たちも乗り込むことに。バルカン星を襲ったのは好戦的なロミュラン人だった。カークはサブリーダーのスポックと対立するようになるが……。
