Yuichi Itou (伊東 優一, Itō Yūichi) is an animator, animation director and director. He was formerly part of Kyoto Animation and Ufotable.

冬休みを間近に控えた高校1年生の冬、涼宮ハルヒ率いるSOS団はクリスマスに部室で鍋パーティを開くことを決定した。気が早いハルヒは早速パーティの用意を始め、キョンたち団員もその準備に追われていたが、事件が起こることもなく至って普通の学校生活を送っていた。しかし12月18日の朝、いつもの通学路でキョンはクラスメイトの谷口に会い、昨日まで元気だった彼が突然風邪を引いたことに驚く。普段通りに谷口に話しかけるキョンだが、どこか会話が噛み合っていないことに違和感を持つ。
