Bai Xue (Chinese: 白雪) is a Chinese film director. She graduated from Beijing Film Academy with a BA in 2007. She enrolled in the MFA program at Beijing Film Academy in 2013. In 2017, she participated in the 2nd CFDG China Youth Film Director Support Program (Young Shoots Program) sponsored by the China Film Directors Association and made the top five. Her filmography includes short films The Fat Girl (2007) and Home (2012). The Crossing (2018) is her debut feature film.

Studying in Hong Kong but living in Shenzhen (the port city of Mainland China), Peipei has spent 16 years in her life travelling between these two cities. To realize the dream of seeing snow in Japan with her bestie, Peipei joins a smuggling gang and uses her student identity to smuggle iPhones from Hong Kong to Mainland. Her family life and friendships begin to fall apart. The daily life of Peipei starts to get out of control.
