Hamza Bangash

略歴

Hamza Bangash is an award-winning Pakistani-Canadian director and screenwriter. An alumnus of both the Locarno and Asian Film Academy, his artistic practice is based out of Karachi. His works have been showcased in film festivals worldwide, including Locarno, Clermont-Ferrand and Palm Springs. Bangash is in the early stages of development of his first feature film, "Mariam". The project won the MPA-AFA first prize at Busan in 2019 and was selected for the Talent Project Market of the Berlinale in 2020.
