In the near future, a virus has infected everyone on the planet, and Absolon is a drug that everyone must take to stay alive. One corporation controls the drug. Murchison is the leader of this firm. A scientist who was researching the virus is found murdered, and Norman Scott is the policeman who investigates the crime.

Private eye Rafe Guttman is hired by repressed, born-again Katherine to find her missing bad-boy brother. The trail leads him to a whorehouse run by a thousand-year-old vampire and secretly backed by Katherine's boss, televangelist Jimmy Current.

In the near future Nassim, terrorist leader, storms computer company headquarters. His aim is deadly computer virus that could bring him world domination. Nick, company janitor and ex-cop, will get in his way.

For opposite reasons, an undercover federal agent and a small time hood join forces to take on a union of drug lords and dirty cops.

由緒ある英国バッキンガム宮殿である日、大事件が。王室諸氏の記念撮影中、落雷で全員が感電死してしまったのだ。慌てた英国は、急いで王の後釜を据えるのだが、それは偶然抜擢されたアメリカの観光客で、彼は単なる品のないピアノ弾きだった……。珍妙な王位据え替えを軸に展開するコメディで、監督は「スティング」「ミラグロ／奇跡の地」等の脚本、「メジャーリーグ」の監督として名高いＤ・Ｓ・ウォード。Ｊ・グッドマンのキャラクターに頼りすぎたせいか、少しアイディア倒れの感があるが、気楽に見る分には良い。脇役にＰ・オトゥール、Ｊ・ハートといった曲者が並んでおり、こちらの怪演は楽しめる。
