The film follows the trial of Croatian terrorists Zvonimir Pospišil, Mijo Kralj and Ivan Rajić, accomplices of the Bulgarian assassin Vlado Georgiev Chernozemski, who killed King Alexander of Yugoslavia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Louis Barthou, on October 9. 1934 in Marseille, France.

However decisive and tough Teodora is when she is with Alek, she is as indulgent and helpless when she is spending time with Nemanja. The problem is that Nemanja is not in love with her but with Marina (Vanja Ejdus), a girl by a few years younger. Unfortunately, Marina is not in love with him, she is very attracted to Alek's "Slavic depression". She doesn't know that reason for his "charm of a desperate" is his failure with Teodora, she thinks Alek was born like that.

In a rented apartment in Belgrade lives Srećko, who always plays the same combination of lotteries in the hope to win a premium one day. Two suspicious Belgrade "businessman" fallow them to Corfu to steal them the ticket.

While floating down the Danube, two wannabe terrorists reach Novi Sad with a plan to set up a bomb there. A guy who walks near finds the bomb by an accident, and decides to simply throw it into the river thus saving the city from destruction.

Old writer Mihailo tells his dying wife a story about lovers and romances set in different seasons. In order to keep her alive, he talks about other people's romaces, but these are supposed to revive their own love story. The heroes of his stories are couples of different age who let go into frivolty of kisses and delicate game of seduction. Mihailo's wife does not like the stories at all because there is no true moral in it - they keep running around in circles. Mihailo decides to tell a new story that should please her. The heroes of the story are young Milos and Mila. Purified by previous experience the two of them move through idealized city scenes, freed from foul play and cheating-it looks like true love can still be found.

A young student Braca is trying to seduce a beautiful model Iris. Although they are from two different worlds, they both try not to show it. In another story, Šomi and Duje anxiously follow the football match between Manchester and Eastwich. They bet on Eastwich, because their childhood friend Kengur is their goalkeeper. The plot of the third story takes place on the roof of the solitaire, where Avaks and Hibrid are wasting time in anticipation of something happening.

Two idle clerks who do senseless office job of punching cards, and who are not particularly fond of each other, decide to play the game "come up with the most stupid line possible" in order to break the boredom. Then they call random people over the phone and tell this line. Harmless game of theirs creates general confusion among people, which leads to anti-terrorist intervention, police interrogation, loss of state credit and the change of government. The two, of course, know nothing about the series of comic and incredible events that follow without stop.

The story evolves around the Arian sect. During the III century AD they have seriously shaken the very foundations of Christian world. Belgrade, 1999. Producer Sergei and his film crew are in a disastrous situation - the film they're making is under threat - there's no money, the crew are dissatisfied - and NATO bombing is just around the corner. Then a member of the State Security Service (Mileta) comes looking for American co-producer Harvey. Anxious and worried, in the midst of the bombing that's begun, Sergei hides Harvey from what he thinks is awaiting him - arrest. During the night, he thinks up a plan. He announces the start of filming on a new, patriotic film - in which the main role will be played by Harvey. The plan works - the State supports the film and Mileta, as the State's representative, joins the crew. However, the underlying conflict between Mileta and Sergei explodes during the first screening. Mileta accuses them of being artists, and not being patriots.

The conflict between innocence and evil is the shortest definition of the leitmotifs of the film. The story is taking place on a winter day in a remote province, far from all major events that shook the world today. A young woman teacher goes to a remote village where he got the first job after six years of waiting. Happy and hopeful that her life finally begins ... The other main feature is similar to it. Male character returns from the war in which, in fact, he was not. The first day of the war he was wounded and spent eight months in the hospital. His first job as a taxi driver on an empty train station where there is not many passengers, but it offers the peace that he needs to overcome his trauma and that gives hope that he is finally something good to happen. But harsh times threaten to destroy the dreams of the teacher and taxi drivers. Fortunately the man who is young like them, but he has completely different goals in life.

Belgrade during the height of the war Yugoslavia in 1999. Kaja struggles with daily destruction and the constant threat of being drafted, but also with his impending divorce from his wife Tijana, who wants to emigrate with their son.
