西暦2037年、大地震で荒廃したロサンゼルス。ゾーン12と呼ばれるかつての高級住宅街ビバリーヒルズは、警察の手も及ばない無法地帯となっていた。そんなある日、ロス市警の警官ハモンドは新たな相棒とコンビを組むよう命じられる。その相棒とは、無法地帯に秩序を取り戻すため導入されたサイボーグ警官“アンドロイドコップ”だった。2人は行方不明となった市長の娘を捜索するため、ゾーン12に足を踏み入れる。
