Mayumi Nakatani

北見俊介（豊川悦司）はかつて売れっ子カメラマンとして知られていたが、今は仕事もなく、怠惰な日々を送っていた。女性に甘く、気ままに生きるダメ亭主を支えるのは、大の健康マニアの妻さくら（薬師丸ひろ子）。文句を言いながらも何くれとなく夫の世話を焼いていた。ある日、友達との箱根旅行を間際に控えて準備であたふたするさくらに、軽口を叩く俊介。そんな夫にさくらは、“子供を作る気がないなら、別れて”と悲しそうに告げる。いつもと違う妻の態度に、何とかその場を取り繕う俊介だったが、2人の関係は以前とは微妙に変わっていた。さくらが出掛けた後、オーディション用の写真撮影にやってきた女優志願の蘭子（水川あさみ）といい雰囲気になる俊介。だが、そこへたまたまさくらが戻ってきて、ついに愛想を尽かされてしまう。そのまま旅行から戻ってこないさくら。最初は独身生活を楽しんでいた俊介だったが、次第に妻のいない生活に苛立ちを覚え始める。近所で洋品店を営むユリ（井川遙）を飲みに誘っても、さくらのことが気になり、出掛けられない始末。そんな俊介を心配そうに見守るのは助手の誠（浜田岳）とオカマの文太（石橋蓮司）。さくらを訪ねてきた青年、西田（城田優）のことを気にしていると、突然さくらが帰宅。だが、“一年前から好きな人がいる”と告白、離婚記念の写真を撮って欲しいと言い出す。一年ぶりにカメラを手にとり、写真を撮り始める俊介。“ねえ、写真撮ってよ。”一年前の沖縄旅行で言われた言葉を思い出す俊介。喧嘩もしたが、穏やかで楽しかった夫婦生活は、どこでどうなってしまったのか……？愛して結婚したはずなのに、いつの間にか素直になれなくなっていた生活。いなくなって初めて、さくらの存在の大きさに気付く俊介。戻ってきたさくらに初めて自分の想いを口にする。取り戻せない時間の中、2人は抱きしめ合う……。

　The latest work by writer Mayumi Nakatani and director Kyoichi Itagaki, who have steadily gained popularity for their sad and warm comedies Beautiful Sunday, Paper Marriage and This Time for Loving Wives in the Third Stage SHOWCASE series, will make its first appearance at the Parco Theatre this spring. 　Set in the everyday life of contemporary Japan, the play carefully and carefully depicts the strengths, weaknesses and hidden sides of the characters.
