Becoming Ithaca
Editor
This visual poem is the continuation of a piece performed live at the Civil Disobedience queer festival, 2020, in Athens. The theme of the year was borders, nationalism, identities, tourism and immigration. The ‘Becoming Ithaca’ performance was comprised of three parts. The islander who dresses up in national costume to attract tourists. The soldier defending his island from immigrants. And finally, the man stripped down to his humanity, who inspired the poem.

Symposium: An Athenian Rawmance
Producer
Borrowing from Plato’s “story within a story” narrative style from the Symposium this short art-porn movie leaves no topic untouched: from the Symposium itself, the nature of love, ancient Greek fem-phobia, modern queer activism in Greece and the toils of masc4masc. Set in locations in and around Athens an Italian tourist is being given a lesson in ALL the Greek ways.

Strangers in their own birthplace, a camp 16-year-old, lollipop-sucking Dany and his 18-year-old brother Odysseus cross the entire country (along with pet rabbit Dido ) in search of their Greek father, who they only know as “The Nameless”, after the death of their Albanian mother. They hope to get Greek passports and citizenship but on the journey they encounter racism and prejudice.
