Sixteen-year-old Zhenya, whom everyone calls Tin, fully justifies her nickname - she is gesticulating and destroys relationships with everyone around her. She became such after she received a concussion and a leg injury. Now she limps and sees the world far from rosy. Zhenya blames his best (and now former) friend Prikhodka for his injury and directs all his anger and sparkling cynicism at him. But apart from Prikhodko, everyone gets it: parents, older brother, girlfriends and classmates. Everything changes when Zhenya meets the head of the robotics circle, Stanislav Karin, who becomes her mentor. Through interaction with robots, Zhenya learns to communicate with people, enjoys life, and most importantly, forgives and regains an old friend.

Sasha fights for his classmate's girlfriend. His sister Marina works as a teacher in the daytime and dances on the raves at nights. Their existence in modern Russia seems to be a trap.

Liza is a sophisticated woman who lives in a ‘high class world’. Her husband Peter speaks Russian with a German accent, he owns a chocolate factory. They live in a cold world of minimalistic interiors, holding back their emotions. There are no children in their expensive countryside house but there are expensive greyhound dogs. However, Liza can’t stay stone cold calm, as she has a secret from her past that burns her from inside, one that she would be happy to get rid of forever… And somewhere near there is a burnt room, and teenager Ulya has the keys.

The naïve Maris joins the Wehrmacht during the Nazi occupation of the Baltic states, together with his brother and several others from the village. The barracks are in a monastery, and Maris – whom everyone views as a fool – seems to consider his fate a religious calling. Until his eyes are opened by the soldiers’ misbehaviour, and he takes it upon himself to save a young woman.

The picture tells about Angela - a talented cellist. Having escaped from her problems from Italy to Russia, she does not find peace here either. Boredom and misunderstanding of others torment her, and the inner fire of contradictions tears to pieces. She has a difficult relationship with her father, she wants to return his love and attention. They are loved and recognized in their small orchestra, however, no one supports and does not understand her impulses to bring something new, to overcome a boring routine and finally change the world of music. It’s getting harder every day to achieve Angela’s inner harmony, or as Angie calls her. The world is full of cruelty, contention and misunderstanding, and finding a place in it for a bright and kind person who cannot feel lies and betrayal with his warm heart is very difficult, almost impossible.

Alexander, a spiritual guru, treats life as a ongoing practice: he leads developmental trainings,specializes on Tensegrity, and being a life coach is eager to help his own daughter to deal with her illness - bouts of depression. He takes her to the sea. As the drama unfolds,we observe,how the world around Alexander begins to oppose his inner practice. Everything around him lives in compliance with a unfathomable law. He is infected with something subtle,something of tremendously erotic nature. Alexander has to make an inner choice: make an act of transgression to find his way out of sensual chaos and find himself. Even if the choice has to be painful. The goal of the film is to explore human nature, which often finds itself on the verge between spiritual-religious and sensual entity.
