It seemed that the life of the guide Marina finally turned into a series of identical, as if under a carbon copy, everyday life, gray as the asphalt of Nevsky Prospekt. And so it was, until the bus suddenly got stuck in traffic at the Anichkov Bridge, and Klodt's famous horses rebelled against Marina and her routine. What can you do, St. Petersburg is a city where miracles happen at every step. A guide can become a person, and the spirits of Nevsky Prospekt can breathe life even into an ordinary bus tour.

Kostya and David are childhood friends, but as adults they are destined to test their friendship. Four newly acquainted fellows must by any means fly to Moscow in non-flying weather, and a couple of young lovers must reconcile their irreconcilable parents by some mysterious way. Valera has to decide on a dilemma: to save mankind from the Deluge or just to fly with his karaoke-alien-friends in their old UFO? All these things can happen only once a year – on December, 31!

The film is a journey through the amazing life of Alekseyev. He drank tea with Tarkovsky, got into the KGB because of Gagarin, competed with Kalashnikov and Vysotsky. One day, he will learn more about himself than he knew and could have imagined: about his talent, about the mark that he left in the destinies of other people.
