天才ライダーのルークは移動遊園地でバイクショーを行う刹那的な日々を送っていたある日、元恋人ロミーナと再会。彼女がルークとの子どもを内緒で生んでいたことを知ると、二人の生活のためにバイクテクニックを生かして銀行強盗をするようになる。ある日銀行を襲撃したルークは逃走する際、昇進を目指す野心的な新米警官エイヴリーに追い込まれるが……。
