ジョン・トラボルタが映画オタクのストーカーを演じるスリラー。ハリウッド大通りでパフォーマーをしながら、さえない毎日を送っている映画オタクのムース。そんな彼の夢は、熱狂的なファンである人気俳優ハンター・ダンバーからサインをもらうことだった。しかし、ようやく念願かなって参加したサイン会でダンバーから冷たくあしらわれたことから、ムースの愛情が歪みはじめる。ダンバーの豪邸を突き止めたムースは何度も彼に接触を試みるが、ムースを気味悪がるダンバーから激しく拒絶されてしまう。そして、ムースのダンバーへの行動が次第に暴走していき……。監督は「奇跡のロングショット」のフレッド・ダースト。
