Philip Chubb

英国の地方の住宅街。11歳の少年ケヴィンはある夜、馬に乗った騎士が自分の部屋に現われて消えるという不思議な光景を目撃。直後、自分たちは時空を越える盗賊だという6人のこびとが現われ、ケヴィンを時空を越える旅に誘う。一行は18世紀のナポレオン・ボナパルト、伝説の義賊ロビン・フッド、トロイア戦争におけるギリシア軍の総大将アガメムノンらと出会うが、最大の敵である悪魔と直面すると自分たちがどうすべきか迷う。

Brian Cohen is an average young Jewish man, but through a series of ridiculous events, he gains a reputation as the Messiah. When he's not dodging his followers or being scolded by his shrill mother, the hapless Brian has to contend with the pompous Pontius Pilate and acronym-obsessed members of a separatist movement. Rife with Monty Python's signature absurdity, the tale finds Brian's life paralleling Biblical lore, albeit with many more laughs.
