Born in May 2, 1981 in Yangon, Myanmar, he received his college education at Edgeware Academy, London and Morley College, London, studying computer science and digital film-making respectively. He has received the Best Director of Photography award at the ASEAN International Film Festival (AIFF) 2019 for his feature film, Mi. He and the film's titular star, Paing Phyo Thu, have been married since January 1, 2019 and currently lives in their hometown, Yangon.

She's also traumatized, insecure, and very tired in life. She's like a butterfly ... a butterfly pinned to a cardboard. Will she risk tearing her delicate wings to free herself?
