イギリスの伝説的ロックバンド「オアシス」の元メンバー、リアム・ギャラガーの成功と挫折、ソロアーティストとしての復活までを描いたドキュメンタリー。1991年に結成されたオアシスのフロントマンとしてスターダムにのしあがったリアムは、その一方で破天荒な言動を繰り返し、メディアからたびたびバッシングを受けていた。やがてバンドメンバーの兄ノエルとの確執が表面化し、2009年には解散状態に。新たに結成したバンド「ビーディ・アイ」も軌道に乗らず解散。失意の中、自らの力だけで音楽の世界を生き抜くことを決意したリアムは、再起をかけてソロデビューアルバム「アズ・ユー・ワー」をリリースする。「コナー・マクレガー：ノートリアス」のギャビン・フィッツジェラルドと、本作のために10年以上にわたってリアムを撮影してきたチャーリー・ライトニングが共同監督を務めた。
