The big New Year's Eve. A painter who has lost his wife while studying in the U.S. tries to complete a portrait of his dead wife before the New Year, but he just can't get the eyes right. Then he has a fateful encounter with a woman named Lynn, who resembles his wife, at the airport. The two of them get into a tuk-tuk, a three-wheeled cab known in Thailand, and embark on a journey to finish what they both want to finish. The two gradually become attracted to each other, but at the same time, their hidden pasts are revealed.

This project, a fusion of poetry, music, and movies, gives birth to a new style of filmmaking, through the work of five directors.

地方の小さな町にそと子という女が住んでいる。彼女は旦那の敦也に縛られ、町の男を対象にした風俗営業を強制させられていた。ある夜、夫から逃れて森を彷徨っていると、幹郎に出会う。彼は都会からやってきたよそ者だった。彼はそと子が旦那に暴力を振るわれている事に気づき、気にかける。幹郎は、「自分ならなんとかできる」と言うが、そと子は意に介さず、男を遠ざける。しかし、男の雰囲気に何かただならぬものを感じていた。ある日、そと子の客のひとりである石川が殺される。犯人が捜索されている中、そと子は幹郎を疑うが…。

4人が互いに関係を崩し合いながら過ごす、バラバラの生活。物語男は、身近な人間関係を小説に書く。以前それで身近な人を傷つけたけど書く姿勢は崩さない。彼に惹かれたホテル女は、自分のことを書いて欲しいと願いながらホテルで働く。夜勤男は、同棲中のホテル女の心が自分から離れたことに苦しみながら夜勤をこなす。旅女は、物語男に会うための旅に出た。私とのことを書き、私を傷つけた物語男に、会って確かめたいこと。
