Once George was a famous boxer. He had no equal either in Russia or Europe, but because of the intrigues of his competitors, he had to interrupt his sports career at the “peak” and emigrate to the USA. He vowed never to return to his homeland ... But the vow was broken. The reason was the serious illness of the coach, who was once the closest person for him. 10 years ago, they were divorced by a major quarrel. Returning to St. Petersburg, George also meets his long-standing enemy, who is now connected with the near-sport criminal business. George will have to unravel the complex "criminal tangle", take part in the fate of a young boxer and, having met with his mother, fall in love again ...

The mid-60s, the time of the "thaw" after the terrible Stalin years. There was a "golden youth" - dudes in trousers with a pipe, jazz "on the ribs", the first farcers. Two blockheads cheerfully while away, trying the delights of adulthood - dancing, wine, girls. But in the end, everyone chooses his life path.

Nikolai (played by Sergei Dontsov) has been fired from his job as a music teacher and has to live in the gym until he finds a place to stay. Finally, he gets a communal room in the apartment of Gorokhov (Victor Mikhalkov). The room's previous inhabitant, an old lady, has died a year ago, and yet her cat, Maxi, is still in the locked room, healthy and fat. Soon, Nikolai and his neighbours discover the mystery: there is a window to Paris in the room. That's when the comedy begins - will the Russians be able to cope with the temptation to profit from the discovery?

A small provincial town is home to two rival teenage gangs, one devoted to loose living and punk music and the other a collection of narrow-minded bodybuilders obsessed with order and convinced of their own moral rectitude. However, this cosy state of affairs is upset by the arrival of two strangers dressed like Pushkin, the famous early 19th century Russian poet, who proceed to found their own organisation, dedicated ostensibly to the memory of the great writer and the "salvation of Russia". Gradually, they begin to assume control of the town...

A young Surrealist artist arrives in Leningrad to enter the Academy of Arts. In search of like-minded people, he goes around the city, gets to know his inhabitants and meets Alevtina, a girl who has already entered the bohemian environment...
