いつものように追いかけっこをしていたトムとジェリーは、間違って火星行きのロケットに乗り込んでしまい、地球を飛び出してしまう。宇宙船の乗船員ビフ＆バズは臆病者で、火星に着いたと思ったらすぐに地球にとんぼ返り。なんとトムとジェリーは火星に取り残され、火星人に見つかってしまう。ピンチに追い込まれた2匹は、火星人の女の子ピープの助けで何とか逃げ出すが…。
