Natsuki Kizu made her professional debut in 2013 with Yukimura Sensei and Kei-kun, followed by the short story collection Links and her breakout series, Given, which has been adapted into drama CDs and an animated TV series.

Original Story
卓越したギターの腕前を持つ高校生の上ノ山立夏は、ある日、同級生の佐藤真冬の歌声に衝撃を受ける。やがて、ベース担当の大学院生・中山春樹、ドラム担当の大学生・梶秋彦と共に活動しているバンドに、立夏は真冬をボーカルとして加入させるのだった。真冬加入後の初ライブを成功させ、バンド「ギヴン」が始動するなか、立夏は真冬への想いを自覚し、ふたりは付き合い始める。一方、密かに秋彦に想いを寄せている春樹だったが、秋彦は同居人の天才ヴァイオリニスト・村田雨月との関係を続けていた…。
