King At The Controls - The King Jammy Story
2006 documentary chronicling the life of Lloyd James, better known as Prince Jammy or King Jammy, a dub mixer and record producer who has had an immense impact on reggae's sonic trajectory, first with his dub-mixing and production prowess and later with his innovations in the wider utilization of digital instruments in reggae and dancehall production, almost single-handedly ushering in the modern dancehall era in the process. The film is comprised of archival footage along with interviews with King Jammy himself, as well as associated artists, production crew, and his family.
