A gloomy milking parlor filled with the sounds of Bach concerts from wheezing loudspeakers is the everyday life of Eric, a cow milker at the Milk Raj cooperative. Eryk is a young boy who abandoned his career as a photographer and lived in an industrial town, away from his family and friends. On the spot he met Marissa, a prostitute in a poor nightclub. They became friends. They both want to find their place in the world.
In the early Middle Ages, two Christian knights set off to christen a small pagan village hidden deep in the mountains. Despite the differences in their views and perspectives on religion, the two men become travel companions and create a father-son relationship. As they settle into the local community, their faith, belief system and the bond between them are all put to the test. Soon, love is confronted with hate, dialogue with violence, madness with rules and many will have to die.
Inspired by true events of 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash in Smolensk, the film tells the partially fictional story of crash and various people affected by the tragedy. The protagonist is a journalist Nina, who refuses to accept the official version of the story and pursues her own independent investigation.
The film "Pilecki" is a fictionalized documentary depicting the story of Witold Pilecki, from his youth through action during World War II, up to the imprisonment and death in May 1948.
