雪国に向かう汽車の中で、島村は病人の男（行男）に寄り添う若い娘（葉子）を見る。ガラス窓に映る２人は夫婦のようにも見え、どこかこの世ならぬ幻灯のようでもあった。そして、宿に入った島村が半年ぶりに再会した駒子は、芸者になっていた。一晩をともに過ごす島村と駒子。翌日、駒子の住む部屋を訪れた島村は、そこで葉子に会う。病の行男も同居しているようだった。行男と自分が幼なじみであると語る駒子。しかも、駒子が芸者に出たのは、行男の治療費のためだったという。それなのに、なぜ行男に寄り添っていたのは葉子だったのか。駒子、行男、葉子——。３人を結んでいる糸が次第に明らかになってゆく。だが、すべてが「徒労」であると感じる島村の目に映っていたのは…。

The movie tells the story of a daughter trying to find her father who went missing shortly after explaining that he happened to see a wanted serial killer marked with a 3 million yen bounty.

Yoshihara Akihito had no particular goal and just managed to manage his daily life. One day, he happened to meet Ishikawa Eriko, who had a secret feeling in high school. Akihito decides to make a plan when he sees Eriko, who rejects all the past, "memories that he wants to change" and "memories that he wants to erase" that are revived by the reunion. To settle the abominable past for the two in high school. A straight and slightly bitter youth group story that depicts characters with a dark past facing each other desperately while being clumsy in order to repaint the memories of memories that turned away from their eyes as adults.

Shibuya Haruko is a high school student living in Tokyo. One night, she is instantly smitten by Kanagawa Kenichi, who is lying prone on a bridge. But Kenichi becomes far more interested in a girl he impulsively hits on, Mayumi, over the high-spirited Haruko.

高校卒業式の朝。篠原純一(須賀健太)が数週間ぶりに登校すると、底の見えない巨大な“穴”が校庭にあり、教室には登校拒否だった生徒を含むクラスメイト全員が揃っていた。やがて校内放送で「今から1時間後にあなたたちは全員死にます。ただし生き残る方法があります、それは生贄を捧げることです……」という不可解なメッセージが告げられる。篠原や同級の鈴木理香(竹富聖花)たちは、タチの悪いイタズラだと考えていたが、最初の“犠牲者”が出たことにより、それは紛れもない事実であることを知る。そんな中、高校生たちは自らが生き残るためにクラスメイトに投票し、生贄を選出するという過酷な選択を迫られる……。
