In Spain, a couple of days before a collective gay wedding, the lives of five mothers, whose sons will get married, are entwined: Judge Helena is in charge of the ceremony; the entrepreneur in hotel business Magda is hosting the guests in her hotel and is responsible for the banquet, while facing a strike leaded by her lover and chef; the nymphomaniac Nuria is facing problems due to her disease; the wealthy Reyes is having a crush for the father of her son's mate and her gardener; and the Argentinean cooker Ofelia is facing financial problems and difficulties in with her son's mate. "Escuela de seducción" is an acceptable comedy which deals, for the umpteenth time, with the war of the sexes using misunderstandings and fake personalities as dramatic resources. The premise is by no means original, but this is something most films lack nowadays, and therefore the result could have been more than acceptable.

Elsewhere, while investigating a murder case, Felix discovers Miranda's affair with Javier.

Eva, Alba y Juan are the protagonist of the story. Eva gives birth to Marina, Alba has just been left by her boyfriend. And Juan is happily married. Their paths intersect one night and their lifes will change forever.

Palencia, Spain, late 1990s. While Gema and Toribio, who live in their own cloud of precarious happiness, always smile stupidly as if they have to apologize for something they have not actually done, their little son Martín suffers, every day at school, an unbearable ordeal, tragic but also comical, that they, a peer of daydreaming simpletons, are unaware of.

While filming a movie, famous Spanish actor Julio Arenas disappears without a trace. Although his body is never found, the police conclude that he has suffered an accident at a cliff by the sea. Many years later, the mystery is brought up once more by a TV program, which offers previously unreleased images of the last scenes in which he participated, shot by his close friend, director Miguel Garay.
