胡桃(阿部菜々実)、由紀(長月翠)、悠里(間島和奏)は、学校で共同生活を送っていた。しかし、この学校の教室の机や椅子は無残に倒され、床には割れたガラスの破片が散乱しており、さらに彼女たちは痛みを感じない“かれら”の脅威から身を守りながら暮らしていた。ある日、胡桃と悠里が美紀(清原梨央)を発見する。

容姿端麗で野菜嫌いなキャリアウーマン・江田マキ（川口春奈）は、ある日イケメンの男子校美術教師・片山渚（林遣都）と出会い一方的に恋に落ちる。新しい出会いと同居相手を探していたマキは、渚の家にころがり込むことに。しかし、渚はなんとゲイのベジタリアンだった！それでも、渚の作る野菜たっぷりの料理に癒されていくマキ。マキが野菜嫌いの原因となった父親・豊（中野英雄）との確執。家族との過去を乗り越えられず苦しんでいる渚。それぞれが抱える問題を解決していくうちに、お互いが”大切な人”に変わっていく・・・。
