無口で不器用な会社員の澤田には不妊症をきっかけにうつ病になった妻の存在があった。澤田はそんな妻を献身的に支えていたが、彼自身も次第に精神を病んでいく。そんな中、澤田の同僚として岸本という男が海外企業から転職してくる。澤田とは対照的に自信に満ち溢れた性格の岸本と親しくなるが、岸本の暴力性や猟奇的な一面を目の当たりにしてしまう。そんな岸本に恐怖感を覚える一方で、危険な魅力を放つ岸本のカリスマ性に徐々に魅せられていく。そして岸本から「もっと本能に忠実になれ」と吹き込まれ、心が揺れ動いていく澤田は、女性社員の美奈子と不倫の関係になってしまうが……。
