ピアノの才能に恵まれた少女うた（成海璃子）は、神童として周囲の期待を背負いながらも自らの才能をもてあましていた。母親との関係や制約の多い窮屈な日常に嫌気がさしていたある日、落ちこぼれ音大受験生ワオ（松山ケンイチ）と出会う。彼と一緒に過ごすうちに音楽の真の喜び、人の心の温かさに目覚めてゆく。
