Tsuyoshi Matsushita

主⼈公は、不公平な判定で負けアメリカへ渡り40年振りに帰国した元ボクサーの広岡仁⼀と、偶然飲み屋で出会い、同じく不公平な判定で負けて⼼が折れていたボクサーの⿊⽊翔吾。仁⼀に⼈⽣初ダウンを奪われたことをきっかけに、翔吾は仁⼀にボクシングを教えて欲しいと懇願する。やがて⼆⼈は世界チャンピオンを共に⽬指し、“命を懸けた”戦いの舞台へと挑んでいく。

Kawamura Shunsuke works for a real estate company. He is usually first at first when it comes to sales. He is respected by his boss and colleagues. Kawamura Shunsuke is also set to marry the daughter of the CEO of his company. His life is going great by every metric one can think of. On the day before his wedding, his colleagues hold a surprise party for him. On his way home from the party, Kawamura Shunsuke falls into a deep manhole. When he wakes up, it is late at night and he struggles to get out of the manhole. His wedding is also fast approaching.

29歳の明香里(吉高由里子)は、思いがけない事故で視力と家族を失うが、明るく過ごしていた。ある日彼女が、管理人と間違えて塁(横浜流星)という青年に話し掛けたのをきっかけに、二人は会話を重ねるようになる。キックボクサーだった塁は、ある事件が原因で心を閉ざしており、笑顔を向けてくれる明香里は大事な存在だった。やがて自分の過去が彼女の失明と関係していたことを知った彼は、高額な手術代を稼ごうと賭博試合のリングに立つことを決意する。
