Shonosuke Furukehashi (Hiroshi Tamaki) is a young samurai and the second son of Sozaemon (Bunchin Katsura) of Togane Domain, Kazusa Province. Sozaemon serves as an attendant, but one day, he is suddenly suspected of accepting bribes. Forged documents written in handwriting startlingly identical to his offer incontrovertible evidence. Framed for accepting bribes he knows nothing about, Sozaemon commits ritual suicide for his “crime”. Shonosuke’s elder brother Katsunosuke (Satoshi Hashimoto), an assistant instructor at the domain’s training hall, is placed under house arrest. Because of that, Shonosuke leaves for Edo alone in order to clear the name of his beloved father.
Kuramochi Bon works at a fast food burger joint, taking out the garbage. All his life he has been told he is ugly, and has never even held hands with a girl. A chance encounter with a mysterious doctor leaves him with 3 bottles of a potion which will make him look like someone else for 24 hours. When Bon gets transfered to another shop temporarily, he decides to use his potion to transform into the most handsome employee. With his new-found looks and confidence he reworks the shop, and asks the girl of his dreams out on a date.

Mizutani
Police struggle to uncover Klein, a powerful criminal organization. Asuka, a young detective, is assigned to contact and escort Hatsumi, a mistress of the drug lord Kimikuni, but they are ambushed, leaving Hatsumi brain-dead and Asuka near to death. However, the police concoct a top-secret plan to infiltrate Klein by transplanting Asuka's brain into Hatsumi's body.
