Fantastical road movie about a pained guy and girl who head from the boonies to Tokyo. Hiro Kenichiro has directed numerous music videos and makes his feature film debut. Set in a world where people get a "blue mail" missive from their future selves. Kagari randomly meets a runaway girl named Yuki. They set off on a trip for Tokyo and gradually discover each other's past secrets.
Since the suicide of his classmate a few years before, a young man named Tatsumi stays shut inside his parent’s house, refusing to leave his room and stuck in a limbo of confusion and grief. One day, something breaks inside him and he starts to run. He runs non-stop, as if something has awoken inside of him. His then finds himself wandering around the streets, searching for where to go. While searching, he comes across a strange funeral service, full of vagrants and drunkards. There he meets a vagrant named Tsuchiro and the two form a close bond.
Yoshio Murata, a factory worker, was told that he would be eaten by aliens in a week due to the treaty "Earthling Man Eater System" made for global peace. His only question is, "Do I taste good?" From that day on, Murata begins making preparations by applying cream and wearing headgear so that the aliens can eat deliciously. A friend Kinoshita suddenly made at the same time, an ex-wife who always talks about money when she goes to see her separated daughter, and a friendly girl Yuki-chan.
