内気な緑化委員の高校生・山田結衣は、学校の花壇に植えた朝顔をきっかけに、それまで話したこともなかった陸上部のエース・加瀬友香と親しくなった。互いに特別な感情を抱いた2人は恋人同士となるが、学校一の人気者でいつも取り巻きに囲まれている友香と、目立たない結衣は擦れ違ってばかり。同性同士という以前に、誰かと付き合うということ自体が初めての2人は、戸惑いながらも、手探りで恋する気持ちを育んでいく。
