「リング」シリーズの脚本などで知られるJホラーブームの立役者・高橋洋が、「霊的ボリシェヴィキ」以来4年ぶりにメガホンをとったホラー。 不気味な洋館を舞台に、呪われた事件を演じる2人の女優を描く。女優で劇作家のナオミは山荘を借り、かつて自分の夫を略奪した女優ミズキを呼んで芝居の稽古をすることに。芝居の題材となるのは、ある謎めいた母殺しの事件。マネージャーの男性・大牟田と共に山荘にやって来たミズキは、母を殺した娘の役を演じるうちに、この山荘こそが事件現場なのではないかと疑いを募らせていく。 「狂気の海」「翔んで埼玉」の中原翔子がナオミ、「父の愛人」の河野知美がミズキ、舞台を中心に活躍する横井翔二郎がミズキのマネージャーを演じる。
