Florence Heller

略歴

Florence Heller is a Los Angeles and New York based filmmaker and theatre-maker. She was one of eight students accepted to the NYU Tisch School of the Arts directing program where she graduated with honors, a BFA in Theatre with a focus in Directing, and a minor in Film. In addition, she was the first non-film major to be accepted to the NYU FAMU 35mm film program in Prague. ​ Florence also received her MFA from the Film and Television Production Program at USC School of Cinematic Arts. During the three year program, Florence worked on over forty films in every aspect of production. In addition, Florence was a TA in the sound department (working closely with Midge Costin) and in the directing department (working closely with Barnet Kellman). She has had the honor of studying under the likes of Michael Uno, Mike Fink, John Watson, Tom Miller and other influential teachers, as well as interning at Paul Feig’s production company: Feigco Entertainment. Florence's short film, "Spoiled Milk," recently completed its festival run, premiering at the LA Shorts International Film Festival. Her work was also recently featured in the Uber "Thank You For Not Riding" campaign, and she has various other projects in development. Florence is presently working at PRETTYBIRD, one of the premiere music video and commercial production companies in the industry.
