Alexander Hagani

Alexander Hagani is a New York City native and award-winning filmmaker who draws inspiration from his own experiences and unique upbringing as a child of divorce. Alexander earned his Masters in Filmmaking from the London Film School, where he was mentored by some of the European film industry's most esteemed directors and producers, many of whom have been recognized at prestigious international film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, and the Academy Awards. Not content to rest on his laurels, Alexander has continued to push the boundaries with his own work, directing a handful of highly-acclaimed short films and serving as producer on a diverse range of projects (including director Lauren Minnerath’s 2022 SXSW Short, ‘Clare’). His dedication to his craft has earned him support from the Panavision New Filmmaker Program and enabled him to establish his own independent production company, NORTH130, in the bustling streets of Brooklyn, New York.
