Proshoon Rahmaan is Dhaka based Creative Writer and Independent Filmmaker from Bangladesh. Post graduated from Dhaka University with the discipline of Social Science. Have studied over several aspect of Filmmaking at Bangladesh and abroad. Apart from filmmaking have 3 publications as well.

It was 25th August of 2017 when mass Exodus has happen at Cox’s Bazar District of Bangladesh and now Kutupalong of Cox’s Bazar has largest refugee camp site in the world with Rohingya population from Myanmar those who are known as most persecuted minorities. This Feature Documentary Film focusing on their oppressed life and covering the present status of Rohingya Community while they have completed 2 years in the camp with all their disastrous past, restricted present and uncertain future.

Dhaka Dream is a tale of convergence towards a city, named Dhaka, where a bunch of outlying people gather different experiences that derives from a separate journey that is collective and yet distinctively simultaneous.

Tale of a pregnant Rohingya woman and her identity crisis who does not want to give birth her child at densely populated refugee camp. Who wants to go back to her own village where she born and make challenges against her fate. A feature length narrative in the backdrop of real event and the characters are inspired from true life.

Woman in South Asian region always remain dependent on their Father, Brother, Husband or, Son in their different stages of life. They never achieve their own home, own address. The story is portraying womanhood of South Asia and depicts the life of Sutopa who never thinks out of that. Finally comprehend when she lost every shelter and found herself on running train where her destination is unknown. Her Own Address is an artistic vision illustrate a human story which appealing to the equality, freedom of souls and antidiscrimination.

Bilkis Banu, lost her husband Hasan on the bloody night of 25th March 1971. She tries to forget him and concentrate on the urban guerrilla movements of Dhaka with Altaf Mahmud, Shahadat, Mrs Khan and many more. But the when spies and the razakars inform on them, most of their people get arrested and Bilkis has to run for her lives, towards her village.
