Rumi Komatsu

小さな町工場の社長が殺され、死体が焼かれるという事件が発生。工場を解雇された元従業員で殺人の前科がある三隅が逮捕されて、自分がやったと犯行を自供。このままでは死刑がほぼ確実と見られていた。すっかりサジを投げた同僚に代わって三隅の弁護を担当することになったエリート弁護士の重盛は、判決をなんとか無期懲役に持ち込もうと懸命に奔走するが、三隅の供述が会うたびに変化して、とんだ迷宮にさまよい込むことになる。

Suzu lives with Furuta, her fiance, but one day she leaves home without saying a word. She moves into the apartment of her friend Abe, but he has gone abroad and Yoko now lives in his apartment. Suzu and Yoko, who have known each other since childhood and have both always loved Furuta, thus find themselves sharing the same home.
