見知らぬ男性の携帯へ繋がったＳＯＳの電話を唯一の命綱に繰り広げられるサスペンス・スリラー。監禁された女性に迫り来る危機と、彼女からの電話を受けた青年が救出へ向け奔走する姿を緊迫感溢れるタッチで描く。監督は「デッドコースター」のデヴィッド・Ｒ・エリス。主演は「Ｌ.Ａ.コンフィデンシャル」「8 Mile」のキム・ベイシンガー。 　夫と息子の３人で幸せな毎日を送っていた高校の生物教師ジェシカ。だがそんなある日、いつものように息子を学校へ送り届け帰宅した彼女を、突然侵入してきた数人の男たちが乱暴に連れ去ってゆく。そのまま、どこかの家の屋根裏に監禁されるジェシカ。リーダー格の男イーサンは部屋にあった電話をハンマーで叩き壊すと、彼女を残し立ち去るのだった。男たちの正体も誘拐の目的も分からないジェシカだったが、いずれ確実に殺されると悟った彼女は理系の知識を活かして壊された電話のコードを接触させ、外への連絡を試みる。やがてそれは、ライアンという青年のケータイに繋がるのだが…。
