Sophie is an aspiring sound designer, sound recordist and composer (as soapybubl) with a range of experience in different areas of audio. After graduating with a BSc in Audio Technology with Electronics from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2016, Sophie has worked as a freelance location sound recordist on a variety of different film projects shot all over Scotland. In addition to this she has been doing sound design for several shorts (credits include the award-winning ‘Remember Me’ by Katie Low), online content and a feature film with post production currently in progress. In her capacity as composer on other projects, her previous soundtrack works have included several indie short films (credits include ‘Darkling’ by Martina Amoretti), a short film trailer shown in the GFT, various student-produced games and podcast content. A resourceful and dedicated member of the team, Sophie has greatly enjoyed working with Stuart and the team on the sound aspects of Solstice.
