Heat Waves
Director
Heat Waves uses pop culture to deconstruct our collective amalgamation of this idea called ‘the tropics’. It is an imagined place made up of vastly different real places that have in common popular fetishisation and, simultaneously, mass neglect in the face of climate catastrophe. One man’s paradise is another man’s existential threat.
