漫画家を目指す青年・草介は、絶滅したニホンオオカミが題材の漫画に挑むが、資料が少なく思うように描けず苦悩していた。そんなある日、バイト先の工事現場で動物の頭蓋骨らしきものを発見し、さらなる骨を求めて夜の工事現場に忍び込む。すると飼い犬を探す女性ミドリと遭遇し、彼女は驚いた拍子に足を怪我してしまう。歩けなくなったミドリを背負い、彼女の家族が営む写真館へと向かう草介だったが…。

A young woman escapes from a city in the near future, where people's anger is medically controlled, and drifts away to a lonely island. It is the developer of the emotion-controlling medicine who finds her and marries her. Her memory is erased and she starts an entirely new quiet life as a different person. But an unexpected incident happens; many people get hurt; the truth is revealed; then she falls in love... And this is a comedy after all!
A university student named World. She thinks about things in her head more than anyone else, but her actions often run on empty, and from the outside, she leads a dull life. His girlfriend is cold, his friend, with whom he has had a rivalry since primary school, is steadily shaping his future dreams, and the girl he fell in love with at first sight is his girlfriend. When he starts to feel tired and doubtful about himself, he ends up reading a diary dropped by his girlfriend. It contains a story that drives the world further into chaos and spinning out of control.
