The words I promised to Kin-ichi Motegi,'This is the first and last. I tell you everything about Fishmans without telling a lie.'" The friends who made the sound of Fishmans devoted their lives to music. Shinji Sato's way of life is packed in this movie for nearly three hours.

A film dedicated to the band Fishmans and their "Long Season Revue" tour in 2005, the first since the death of frontman Shinji Sato.

Fishmans' legendary final live performance under the Fishmans name before frontman Shinji Sato's passing. The show was recorded and filmed at Akasaka Blitz, a Japanese music venue based in Minato, Tokyo, on December 28, 1998, and released as an album nine months later. The album title roughly translates to "A Men's Farewell: December 28th, 1998", a reference to the tour name to bassist Yuzuru Kashiwabara's departure and to signal an "end of an era" for the band's three piece era.

「何事もつつみ隠さず、タブーをつくらず、できるだけすべてのことを分かち合う」　それが、母親らしいことを何ひとつしてくれなかったさと子への反発から、いつも笑顔で幸せな家庭であり続けようとする絵里子の決めた京橋家のルールだ。だが、絵里子の意に反して、家族はそれぞれに秘密を持っていた。夫の貴史は麻子とミーナと言うふたりの愛人の間を行き来し、娘のマナは不登校を続け、建築物に興味を持つ引きこもりがちな息子のコウは父の愛人と知らずにミーナを家庭教師に迎えてしまう。そんなある日、絵里子はさと子とミーナの合同誕生パーティを開く。ところが、酔っ払ったミーナのお陰で家族の秘密が次々に露呈、絵里子の築き上げてきた家庭はもろくも崩れ去った。しかし、自身の誕生日。さと子からのバースデイ・コールによってわだかまりの解けた絵里子は再生することが叶い、プレゼントを抱え帰宅して来た家族を温かく迎えるのであった。
