Juliana Lee White

Juliana was born in Winter Haven, Florida, though she grew up in Kansas and also occasionally traveled to Taiwan to spend time with her mother’s family. Her proudest achievement is earning her B.A. from the University of Chicago in Art History and Cinema & Media Studies. After graduating, Juliana worked as a teacher in South Korea for three years before returning to the U.S. to pursue an MFA in Film Production at FSU’s College of Motion Picture Arts, where she specialized in Directing. As a filmmaker, Juliana is interested in narratives that explore themes of identity and the subconscious, and she is especially drawn to psychological dramas and horror films. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano and harp, visiting museums, and traveling. Juliana now resides in Los Angeles, California.
