When he discovers a mysterious Viennese hairdressing salon, his initial joy is quickly overshadowed by worrying questions: Why was the hairdresser so hesitant to let him in? Why did she lock the front door? Was it wise to ask a stranger for a shave? And who is that pale old man next to him, who neither speaks nor moves?
