Yuvraaj and Protha are from rival colleges and dislike each other. However, when they happen to stay at the same hotel during a field trip to Rajasthan, they start developing feelings for each other.
Akkarshan is set against the backdrop of corporate life, explaining the dynamics between the two genders. It stresses on the importance of a woman in the corporate culture and also follows one woman`s mission to exact revenge on those who have done her wrong.
The film is set in a place called Shantipur whose local messiah/ hero is Dev (essayed by Yash Daasguptaa) a flamboyant character who rides around town helping young and old. The people of Shantipur worship him like a true hero and women are crazy about him. Agni, a single mother (played by Rituparna Sengupta), is posted as a government official in the town who soon gets embroiled in a controversy that makes her come face to face with Dev. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
