弁護士として成功し、裕福な家庭を築いた黒人男性マーキス。ある日、父親の訃報を聞いた彼は、家族とともに自家用セスナで遠い山奥にある故郷へ飛び立った。だが、途中落雷で飛行機が墜落、マーキスは故郷に近い山中の小村で、親切な夫婦に助けられる。家族の無事が心配なマーキスだが、けがで体が動かず、この家には電話すらない。やがて彼は、ここが不気味な呪術が支配する村で、自分が監禁されている事実に気付くのだが……。
