暗闇を疾走する不気味な列車、中ではイカれたロックバンドとダンスに狂う女たちの乱痴気パーティ。しかしそこでは神と悪魔が対峙し、列車の乗客たちの運命を操っている。死の世界へと突き進む列車の、乗客たちの生前の悪行が次々と暴かれていく様が、独立した3作品のオムニバス・ホラーとなっている。 第1話は臓器売買殺人鬼、第2話は自殺マニアの殺人機械、第3話はナチスの恐怖と異なったテーマを持っているが、全編に通じるスプラッター描写は、当時としては“スプラッターの帝王”H・G・ルイス作品に匹敵するものだった。また本作は、60年代SFで多用されたクレイモデルを使ったストップモーション・アニメの怪物も多数登場、並のホラームービーにないSFテイストを持った貴重な作品でもある。さらにキャストも異色、二枚目スターのジョン・フィリップ・ロー、B級映画の名脇役キャメロン・ミッチェル。現在でも十分楽しめる娯楽ホラーである。
