タイムトラベラーとなった少女グウェンは、パートナーのギデオンとともに、秘密結社“監視団”の任務を遂行することになった。その任務とは、12人の時間旅行者全員の血を集めて“クロノグラフ”の真の力を引き出すこと。だが監視団を完全には信頼できないグウェンは、真実を知るため、失踪した時間旅行者のルーシーとポールをひそかに捜し始める。一方、監視団の創設者サンジェルマン伯爵はグウェンの動きに不審を抱く。

16歳の少女グウェンは、突然時を超える能力に目覚める。彼女の一族のうち、特別な遺伝子を受け継いだ者だけがこの力を発現させるのだが、本来その役割は、予言された日付に生まれ、幼いころから準備を整えていた、いとこのシャーロットが務めるはずだった。覚悟も準備もないまま時間旅行者となったグウェンは、秘密結社“監視団”のもと、同じくタイムトラベル能力を持つ美青年ギデオンをパートナーにして特殊任務を与えられる。
