​From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia D12 (also known as D-12, and The Dirty Dozen) is an American hip hop group from Detroit, Michigan. D12 has had chart-topping albums in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. D12 was formed in 1996, but only achieved mainstream success when one of its members, Eminem, rose to international fame. Eminem held a secret "Relapse" release event on May 19, 2009 in his home town of Detroit. Eminem performed multiple songs from his new album including "3 AM," "Hello," "Insane," "Beautiful," "Crack A Bottle," "We Made You, and "Underground.", all before an encore where Eminem brought out his D12 members to perform "Lose Yourself."

Beef II (released on DVD in August 2004) is a sequel to the 2003 documentary Beef, which continued to document the history of rivalries in hip-hop and rap music. Like its prequel, the film was executive produced by Quincy Jones III (QD3), written by Peter Alton and Peter Spirer (who also directed), and was this time narrated by actor Keith David.
