An old western town is populated entirely by cute young Catholic schoolgirls and shotgun toting nuns who have killed off the entire male population, the nuns teach their female students that all men are evil. Fleeing from a hyperspace crime syndicate leader charmingly named D'Rool, space pirate Baraba and her robot Mia cross the dimensional barrier into our world and change form - Baraba becomes a beautiful human girl and Mia a cute fluffy animal. A young man named Hiro Banba steps in to save Baraba from the unwanted attentions of some thugs, and three lesbian sisters offer the trio shelter. Meanwhile, D'Rool has also crossed the dimensional barrier and mutated into a hideous form. Baraba will have to deal with him, but she's starting to like her new shape and is starting to fall Hiro. 二ツ目の落語家、志ん魚は二十三歳の誕生日、志ん米はじめ、仲間の援助で初めてソープランドに行った。志ん魚についたエリザベスは初々しい彼に興味を抱き、二人はその日からデートを重ねた。数日後、そんな志ん魚に、女子高の落研に所属する女の子たちがコーチを依頼に来る。志ん魚はその中の一人、由美に心を寄せる。純な志ん魚は由美のことをエリザベスに告白するがバレなければいいと気にしない。志ん魚は割りきれないまま、エリザベス、由美とデートを続ける。

ベガ星連合軍のバレンドス親衛隊長が地球を来訪。兜甲児はいつもと様子の違う葉巻型円盤に気付き、単身立ち向かうがバレンドスに捕まり連行されてしまう。甲児を脳波探知機にかけ、グレートマジンガーがロボット博物館に納められていることを探り出したバレンドスは、グレートマジンガーを強奪する。大介はグレンダイザーに乗り込み甲児を救出した円盤に向かったが、バレンドスの乗るグレートマジンガーに行く手を阻まれてしまった。さらに、円盤獣・ジンジン、円盤獣・グビグビも出現し、グレンダイザーに最悪の危機が迫る…。

巨大な宇宙船が突然現われ、早乙女研究所に攻撃を加えた。リョウ、ムサシ、ハヤトの三人は、ただちに合体し反撃に移ったが、宇宙船から飛び出した空魔獣グランゲンにおさえこまれてしまった。頼みのグレートマジンガーは修理中なのだ。早乙女所長は三人に解体を命じたが、ムサシは大爆発するグランゲンの巻きぞえになってしまった。これを見た宇宙船は、結合ボングを出撃させ、今度は科学要塞研究所に向かわせた。早乙女博士はリョウとハヤトを新しい研究所に連れて行き新しいゲッターロボＧを見せた。これはドラゴン、ライダー、ポセイドンに分解でき、ポセイドンには車弁慶が乗ることになっている。羽田空港に着陸した宇宙船は、光波獣ビグトロンに出撃を命じた。ビグトロンにはグレートマジンガーが向かったが、次々と発射される光の矢に鉄也も負傷してしまった。だがゲッターロボＧは、鉄也を助け出すと、グレートマジンガーとともに反撃を開始、宇宙船を爆破し、ビグトロンを壊滅させるのだった。...

謎の宇宙船が地球上に宇宙怪獣ギルギルガンを放った。 科学要塞研究所と早乙女研究所ではその宇宙船をほぼ同時にキャッチし、まずはゲッターロボが出撃する。 兜博士は様子を見ることにし、ゲッターロボに先を越された鉄也は悔しがる。 ゲットマシンは円盤に遭遇し、ゲッター１に合体して迎え撃つ。 が、グレートマジンガーを意識しすぎるリョウは功を焦ったため、早乙女博士はゲッターロボを退却させる。 一方、ギルギルガンをキャッチした科学要塞研究所はグレートマジンガーを発進させる。 が、鉄也もまたゲッターロボを意識しすぎ、超合金ニューＺをも食う上にあらゆる武器が通じないギルギルガンに大苦戦。 救援に来たボスボロットも何の役にも立たず、鉄也もまた退却を余儀なくされる。 早乙女博士は科学要塞研究所に赴き、兜博士と共同作戦を練る。 そして怪獣を無人島に誘い出して一気に倒す作戦を決行する。 そのため、成長したギルギルガンの前に現れて囮となるボスボロットとビューナスＡ。 ついに海の真ん中でボスボロットは追いつかれるが、ゲッター３が救援に現れたおかげでなんとか島への上陸を果たす。 更に島でゲッター２が応戦するが、全く歯が立たない。 一方、修理が終わったグレートマジンガーが緊急発進する。 ついに２体のスーパーロボットによる共同作戦が始まった。 そしてサンダーブレークとゲッタービームの同時攻撃で、ギルギルガンを粉砕する。 が、そこへ宇宙船が現れ、自らギルギルガンに食われることでギルギルガンは更なるパワーアップを果たす。 苦戦する両ロボット。 しかしやがて、ギルギルガンが武器のカマを放った後の穴が弱点であることを見抜き、そこを集中的に攻め始める。 そして体内に入り込んで破壊、破壊、破壊する。 だが、一度倒れたものの、なおも攻撃を続けるギルギルガン。 そこへ、ダブルサンダーブレークとゲッタービームの集中攻撃を浴びせ、ついにギルギルガンは大爆発を起こす。 固く手を握り合うグレートマジンガーとゲッターロボ。 鉄也とリョウはこれからも力を合わせていくことを誓い合うのだった。

今日は「聖ハレンチ学園」の卒業式。居並ぶ在校生の中には、山岸、袋小路、風間、柳生みつ子の顔が、一方教師側には校長以下荒木、吉永、木戸の神妙な顔がみえる。「仰げば尊し」の歌声は流れているものの、歌っているのは教師だけで生徒たちはまったく無視した態度。そこへ教育委員到着の知らせが入ったが校長はこの醜態を見せては、補助金打ち切りになりかねぬと無事卒業式は終了したと報告し、教育委員の目をごまかすのだった。山岸たちはこの事実をネタに、教師を強迫、全員にオール5を認めさせた。しかし、その反動として、荒木は男生徒を檻に入れ、木刀をふりまわした。そこに現われ、生徒の人望を集めたのは新任の体操教師マカロニだった！
