24歳のOLヨシカは10年前から、地方にある地元中学で出会った同級生イチに好意を抱いているが告白できず、今も彼を忘れられない。そんなヨシカは自分が経理の仕事をしている現在の会社で営業の仕事をしている同期のニから告白されてまんざらでもないが、むしろイチが今何をしているかが気掛かりに。そこでSNSを通じ、中学の同級生のうち上京したメンバーを集めて同窓会を開き、そこでイチと再会することに成功する。

Three young people in Tokyo. Kuro is a girl working a part-time job at a bakery. Eito is a photographer. Gou is a theater director. These three individuals meet by coincidence and, as a means to escape reality, begin living together at a deserted inn near the sea.

An old couple, their only son, the son's wife, a young man and his lover live peacefully in a village. Then, a terrifying earthquake strikes that causes a nearby nuclear station to explode. The residents must evacuate, but the family lives on a farm, with only half of the area designated as an evacuation area.

死別した前妻の娘と現在の妻。その折り合いの悪い二人に挟まれながらも、主人公の社本信行は小さな熱帯魚店を営んでいた。波風の立たないよう静かに暮らす小市民的気質の社本。だが、家族の確執に向き合わない彼の態度は、ついに娘の万引きを招く。スーパーでの万引き発覚で窮地に陥る社本だったが、そんな彼を救ったのはスーパー店長と懇意のある村田だった。村田の懇願により店長は万引きを許す。さらに大型熱帯魚店を経営する村田は、娘をバイトとして雇い入れる。その親切さと人の良さそうな男に誘われて、社本と村田夫婦との交流が始まる。しばらくして、利益の大きい高級魚の取引を持ちかけられる社本。それが、村田の悪逆非道な「ビジネス」を知り、同時に引き返せなくなる顛末への引き金となった。
